Maybe it is my Libra Rising why I can’t make up my mind… I love to paint. I love having a drill in my hands. I love to paint and cut up paper. A total mess with sticky fingers – can’t say I love that, but I persevere because it is mostly the joy of creation that rocks my boat and keeps me sane! Stefanie Girard

Stefanie Girard
My current artwork is informed by the power of words and quotations. I strive to artistically elevate selected words through my choices of font, materials, application techniques and presentation surfaces. I strive to combine these elements plus additional images in ironic and unexpected ways to create something that is both aesthetically pleasing and meaningful. My work includes large modular installations created with sometimes unusual, sometimes mundane objects like bricks and paper, embroidery and wood along with traditional acrylic paint, watercolor and porcelain. Visit Stefanie’s website.

Sharon Nessim
I have always loved portraits, gravitating to Rembrandts and Spanish masters on all my museum visits. What I enjoy most is the subtle ways you learn about someone as you observe and paint them, and how the final painting ends up being a melding of the artist and subject. What unites my body of work is the emphasis on character, color, and texture. To view a cross section of my work please visit me @SharonNessim on Instagram.

Patricia O’Brien
Tom O’Neill

David Orr
“My art derives from living at the confluence of four major freeways in a world created by the defense industry, and encapsulates my work in motion pictures. It expresses my knowledge that each day, everything changes, and nothing will ever be the same.”

Julie O’Sullivan
Julie is an abstract painter focusing on the details of the world with acrylic on canvas, sometimes texturized, embroidered, bedazzled and/or beaded. Her pieces explore microbiology and what microscopic creatures might look like in a playful manner. She also explores the inner workings of the mind by abstractly showing how they might behave in different environments. Having a background in architecture, Julie loves to build cities, loosely defined, and organic. Her next focus is on painting on a larger scale. You can find her studio at The Makery in Little Tokyo, on Intagram: @osullivanarts, and on her website.

Donal O’Sullivan
Donal’s work includes landscape, portrait, nature and what can be described as ‘emo-graphy’, an attempt to translate moods and feelings into photo-graphy. His mixed media work emphasizes color, boundaries and encounters. “Crossing boundaries and exploring cultures and societies lies at the heart of my artistic endeavor. To reflect on the challenges of life, to indulge in the beauty of nature. Creating images that generate emotions, inspire and engage. Chasing the light to capture the essence of a ray of sunshine or expressing feelings on paper and canvas”.
