Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Michelle “Mimi” Rossi’s style is as eclectic as her background. Creating a piece with ‘any means necessary,’ she uses a variety of techniques and mediums to achieve the visual look she envisions.
As a child, her mother would sit and draw with her for hours, teaching her the shapes and details of the human face and body. Her bio father often painted in oils and she would often watch, learn and paint from his example. A man of many trades, her dad hobbied in metal sculptures and taught her how to work with metals and solder.
Mimi Rossi wanted to create something special to help people feel more connected in what sometimes feels like a rushed, impersonal world – and now with COVID-19, it’s more important than ever for people to feel connected. She created The Art Bond® – to help people connect thru art.
Always reading books and taking classes, Rossi is a self-taught artist that continues to evolve and explore all areas of artistic expression.
